The Salamander protective housing from AutoVimation has enough space for most image processing cameras. The cross-section of the cameras can range from 29 x 47mm to 40 x 40mm.
The housing for industrial cameras is available in four different lengths. This allows it to be easily adapted to the length of the entire system, which consists of the camera, lens and connectors. It can also be optionally extended with a housing extension.
There are cable glands or protective conduit connections on the rear wall of the housing that allow several cables and plugs to be fed through in a watertight manner. These may have a diameter of 26 mm and with the rear panel G a diameter of 42 mm.
With the patented Quick-Lock/Heat-Guide camera fastening inside the housing, you can mount the camera flexibly and vibration-proof.
Thanks to the good thermal connection, the protective housing acts as a passive heat sink, which reduces the temperature of the camera by up to 20°C compared to open mounting.
