How CO2 laser technology works
CO2 lasers are based on a gas laser technology in which an electrical pulse excites a CO2 gas mixture, creating a focused laser beam. This beam is directed precisely onto the substrate via mirrors, where it changes the surface by heating or vaporizing to create permanent codes, text or graphics.
