Compression Beyond
Compression Beyond compresses image data directly in the camera's FPGA - in real time and without any loss of quality. This optimizes the available bandwidth, which ensures significantly higher frame rates, especially with GigE interfaces - up to two to three times faster, depending on the image content. In addition, the compressed image data can be saved in full resolution, which significantly reduces memory requirements. The advantage: existing GigE hardware can be used more efficiently and the transmission speed can be doubled.
