Domino Cx150i
For non-absorbent materials
The Cx150i was developed for smooth or coated surfaces.
It works with UV-curing inks that cure immediately after printing in combination with the UV150 LED system. This makes it ideal for outer packaging made of plastic, coated cardboard or glossy materials.

The Cx350i is the robust solution for marking absorbent materials such as corrugated cardboard, wood, plaster or building materials.
It uses vegetable oil-based inks and achieves clear, high-contrast print images even at high production speeds.

Whether large shipping cartons, shelf-ready packaging or tray packaging - the Cx350i ensures precise and high-contrast markings. Brand logos, product batch information or machine-readable barcodes such as GS1-128 and GTIN-14 are printed in razor-sharp quality. The elimination of pre-printed labels reduces stock levels and waste, while the environmentally friendly vegetable oil-based inks promote sustainability.

The Domino Cx series printers are designed for demanding industrial applications - from porous building materials such as fiberboard or plasterboard to smooth and coated packaging.
They produce precise, abrasion-resistant markings directly on the surface, ideal for product labels, serial numbers or batch data.
The print quality remains consistent even at high production speeds of over 100 m/min.
Depending on the model, quick-drying vegetable oil-based inks or UV-curing inks are used to ensure permanently legible and durable marking, even under harsh storage and transport conditions.

The Domino Cx series printers can be flexibly integrated into almost any production line - from packaging to building materials and other industrial applications.
The modular print heads, available in different variants and sizes, can be mounted from above, below or on inclined surfaces, depending on the application.

How drop-on-demand piezo inkjet technology works
The Domino Cx350i uses drop-on-demand piezo inkjet technology to print ink precisely and efficiently onto porous materials. The print heads contain piezoelectric crystals that are minimally deformed by electrical impulses. This deformation creates a controlled pressure in the ink channel, whereby a drop of ink is precisely ejected from the nozzle.
The technology works without contact, which means that the ink is shot directly onto the surface without touching the substrate. This ensures that even sensitive or uneven materials such as cardboard, corrugated cardboard or plasterboard can be printed on without any problems.
Resolution is achieved through precise control of drop speed and size, with horizontal resolution of up to 300 dpi. Vertical resolution is optimized to 150 dpi to ensure efficient ink consumption on large print areas. Each drop is precisely placed to ensure clear edges and high legibility of text and barcodes.
The technology does not require compressed air and works with vegetable oil-based inks that have been specially developed for fast drying and permanent adhesion. This makes the process not only precise, but also economical and environmentally friendly.
