Since its foundation over 80 years ago, the family business based in Lustenau, Vorarlberg, has steadily developed into one of the leading companies in the production of high-quality self-adhesive labels. In addition to international customers, CARINI GmbH mainly supplies the four German-speaking countries. In its search for innovative technologies, CARINI GmbH entered the world of digital printing at an early stage, at the end of the 1990s. As a pioneer in digital printing, the company relied on HP Indigo quality right from the start, which is still the benchmark in terms of quality and flexibility after 25 years. At the same time, the machinery has been constantly updated to keep pace with rapid digital developments and to always be able to offer customers the latest innovations.
In line with the growing trend towards digitization, digital printing capacity has been continuously optimized and expanded in recent years. In April 2023, Chromos Group AG was able to deliver and commission the fourth HP Indigo 6K as an exclusive partner of HP Indigo. Like the existing machines, the machine was equipped with 7 inking units and, with the Spotmaster, also includes the latest innovation in colour management, which significantly shortens makeready times even further and also helps to minimize material waste from an ecological point of view.
