AN EVENING WITH ALISHA RAST

From Switzerland to WorldSkills 2026

Every year, Switzerland’s best young vocational talents represent our country at international competitions such as EuroSkills and WorldSkills. The 2026 SwissSkills National Team consists of 42 vocational talents who spend months preparing for their competition and represent Swiss vocational education and training on the international stage.

Alisha Rast was part of this team. At WorldSkills Shanghai 2026, she competed in the Graphic Design Technology category. With an outstanding 8th-place finish and a Medal of Excellence, she achieved a result at the highest international level.

On November 12, Alisha Rast will be our guest here in Dielsdorf. She’ll tell us about her journey to WorldSkills, her preparations for the competition, her daily training routine, the challenges she faced in Shanghai, and the experiences she’s gained along the way.

We’re not just interested in the result. We’ll get to know the person behind this achievement. What motivates Alisha? How does she deal with the pressure to perform? What role do creativity, precision, and perseverance play? What insights will she take away from Shanghai to help her in her future career?

Following the interview, we invite you to join us for an aperitif with hors d'oeuvres. Take this opportunity to engage in one-on-one conversations and interact directly with Alisha Rast.
