The giant Appenzeller Quöllfrisch swing-top bottle protrudes from the shop window in Appenzellerland and was printed on the BigRep One.
BigRep One the 3D printer for large-format objects
The 2 x 0.6 meter beer bottle was created in SketchUp, MakePrintable and Adobe Illustrator software before being printed using Big Rep One (FDM technology). The swing top bottle was then covered with foil and painted. The result is a brilliantly realized creative concept, where the best of 3D printing and surface finishing has now been awarded by the FESPA jury in the category "Direct Printing on three dimensional products".
