World first in Traiskirchen - HP Indigo 6K+ at Marzek Etiketten+Packaging

The label and packaging specialist is one of the first companies in the world and the first in Austria to expand its machinery in Traiskirchen with the latest HP Indigo 6K+ digital offset press, setting new standards in terms of print quality, productivity and automation.

With customers' growing demand for faster customization and shorter lead times, it is critical for Marzek Etiketten+Packaging to deliver with precision and efficiency. The HP Indigo 6K+ digital press, equipped with the new SmartControlSystem, enables the company to directly meet these operational requirements with high productivity, reliability, operational robustness and exceptional versatility. In practice, this means faster makeready, consistency on repeat jobs and quicker changeovers for different substrates, allowing Marzek Etiketten+Packaging to reduce turnaround times while maintaining the high quality expected by customers. In addition, the ability to connect to the machine via the PrintOS app provides a production control station to monitor processes and retrieve reports.

Marzek Etiketten+ Packaging had already proven its pioneering role in the industry in 2009 with Europe's first commissioning of an HP Indigo WS 6000. Another technological quantum leap followed in 2020 with the purchase of an HP Indigo 6K - again as the first company in Austria.
