Workshop "From 3D data to 3D printing"

What needs to be considered when preparing 3D data for 3D printing?

The basis for the process chain in additive manufacturing is the availability of 3D data. In this hands-on workshop, models are sliced in CAD and prepared for FDM printing. Showcases from the industry will be used to demonstrate further 3D applications and areas of use for 3D printing.

The basic workshop "From 3D data to 3D printing" is aimed at beginners and those interested in the additive manufacturing chain. Many examples from industrial practice illustrate the additive manufacturing processes, 3D printing technologies and the associated printing materials. The finishing of the printed 3D object surfaces opens up further areas of application in industrial manufacturing.

The workshop will take place on the premises of the CHROMOS Group Factory, Niederhaslistrasse 12, 8157 Dielsdorf.
Compliance with the COVID-19 protective measures is ensured.
