The Swiss CHROMOS Group AG acquires the German DVS System Software GmbH & Co. KG, a leading software developer for the printing, packaging and processing industry. This step opens a new chapter in the strategic corporate development of CHROMOS Group AG, in which software is becoming increasingly important thanks to digitalization and connectivity.
Software is becoming increasingly important in the practical development of industrial solutions, and it is therefore essential to build up and expand software expertise. The Swiss CHROMOS Group AG is responding to this development with the acquisition of DVS System Software GmbH & Co. KG.
DVS System Software GmbH & Co. KG is a leading developer of software solutions for the printing and packaging industry. The range of services includes DVSERP, an ERP system for the comprehensive representation of an industry-typical business model with modules such as inquiry and project management, calculation, quotation management, article management, order and purchase order management, material management, production planning and much more. Another mainstay is PACKEDIA, an award-winning solution for packaging developers. PACKEDIA enables complete packaging development including CAD, sheet optimization, calculation and the simple creation of 3D models. DVS System Software GmbH & Co. KG is based in Iserlohn and has been a pioneer in electronic processing since its foundation in 1985.

DVS System Software GmbH & Co. KG will continue its activities as an independent subsidiary of CHROMOS Group AG. Dirk Verborg, previously managing partner, will continue to be responsible as managing director, and all employees will continue to be employed.
