Which 3D printing materials can I choose from?
We have many different materials to choose from that have different properties.

I do not have my own 3D files, can you help me?
Of course! We help you to realize your ideas. We construct accurate 3D models from your 2D artwork, or digitize physical objects with a 3D scanner. The resulting data can then be easily printed using one of our many processes.
How can I be sure that my 3D model can be printed?
Before 3D printing, all models are checked. If any problems occur, you will be contacted. If revisions or repairs of the 3D constructions are necessary, then we offer you gladly our assistance.
What wall thicknesses are possible with 3D printing?
This question cannot be answered in a general way. Depending on the printing process and the material selected, different wall thicknesses are possible. The range extends from 0.3mm in metal printing to 2.mm in CJP printing with polymer plaster or other processes. In the technology overview you will find the wall thicknesses required in each case.
What do I need to consider in the construction of wall thickness`?
Your models should be as stable as possible. Therefore, you should always plan with a wall thickness of at least 0.8mm. This rule of thumb applies to partition walls and exterior walls.
What wall thickness should the partition walls have in the SLS process?
In selective laser sintering, the partitions should be at least 1 mm thick to ensure optimum stability of the model.
What should be the minimum level of raised and recessed details?
To ensure that the details are printed as error-free as possible, we recommend a thickness of at least 0.5 mm for both raised and recessed details.
What software is suitable for creating 3D models?
You want to create a 3D model yourself? Then you need a 3D modeling software. Some of this software is even available free of charge.
Depending on your previous knowledge, different programs are suitable.

Can I have my own 3D models printed?
Sure, you can do that directly via our 3D printing platform. You can log in, upload the model and find out right away whether the model is compatible with the selected printing methods.
How do I upload my model in the configurator?
Especially with the .obj format, it is very important that all files are compressed into a single .zip file. So you select the entire .zip file when uploading.
