On September 24, a seminar on "3D printing in practice" was held at the Chromos Blue Lab in Glattbrugg.
3D printing expert panel
In the round table talk chaired by Katinka Gyomlay (3D Solutions, CHROMOS Group), AM experts Professor Hans-Ulrich Büse (iwk). Adrian Helbling (Ecoparts), Dieter Schäffler (SRF Switzerland), Dr. Manfred Schmid (icams) and Dr. Dieter Woschitz (Encoma) discussed additive manufacturing methods. They gave an insight into their practical experience with 3D scanning, reverse engineering and 3D printing material processing through to 3D finishing.
3D showcases on 3D technologies, 3D scanning and collaborative robot technology
Afterwards, participants were able to experience SLS and SLA machines, 3D scanning and collaborative robot technologies live in the showlabs. Many print models illustrated the various applications and uses of 3D printing and objects.
3D workshop
On October 22, 2020, a workshop "From 3D data to 3D printing" will take place, this time at the CHROMOS Group Academy, in the showroom in Dielsdorf.
The workshop is aimed at beginners and slightly advanced users in additive manufacturing.
