Our telecentric lenses for high-speed cameras enable the imaging of three-dimensional objects without perspective distortion. Among other things, this enables very precise measurements of the object without the dimensions of the object being distorted by small shifts.

In recent years, camera systems have become very popular for measuring three-dimensional objects. The ever-improving cameras, computer programs and lighting make it possible to achieve a level of accuracy that previously could not even be achieved with contact or laser-based measurement methods. The problem with conventional lenses, however, is that the dimensions of an imaged object depend largely on its position, orientation and three-dimensionality. We offer the solution with our telecentric lenses. They provide an image without perspective distortion and show the object in the same size, regardless of the distance.
