FUJIFILM is venturing into the surveillance camera market with its first own surveillance camera. This new camera sets new standards in many respects and enables you to take a completely new approach to surveillance.
The most important features of the FUJINON SX800
There are several features that make the SX800 a unique surveillance system.
The lens is permanently installed and covers a focal length range of 20-800mm. In conjunction with the 1/1.8″ sensor and the Full HD resolution, you can monitor even distant targets perfectly. The integrated optical and electronic image stabilizer ensures sharp and blur-free images.
A very special feature is the heat haze / fog reduction technology. This can reduce the effects of heat haze and fog when shooting at long distances. This allows you to achieve much better image quality and meet even higher security requirements.
The fast autofocus ensures precise focusing in just around one second. This allows you to quickly change the focal length without losing a lot of time focusing.
The surveillance system - which can also be used on the move - is ready for use very quickly, as the lens and camera are in a fixed housing. Only a few points need to be taken into account during installation and the time required is significantly reduced compared to previous systems.

Application areas of the SX800
In recent years, it has become increasingly common to install remote monitoring systems at international borders, in wooded areas and public places (airports, train stations, highways...). All too often, however, quality problems occurred due to heat flicker and wind. When recording at long distances, even the slightest vibrations caused by windy weather resulted in a severe loss of quality.
This is no longer the case with the new FUJIFILM SX800 surveillance camera. Heat haze and fog reduction ensure better images at greater distances and the optical image stabilizer ensures shake-free images in windy weather.
