The RTS is a servo-driven cross cutter with a guillotine cutting function; it is available in three web widths of 330 mm, 430 mm and 530 mm and can cut with an accuracy of 0.15 mm according to markings, lengths or label spacing.
The standard Omega RTS cross cutter machine is equipped with an electromagnetically braked unwinding unit with a 76 mm (3″) pneumatic mandrel, a splicing table with web clamps and a servo-driven pre-pull station, a guillotine cutting mechanism and a 1000 mm long tape delivery, which has an acceleration function for stack separation. The machine is controlled via a 6″ color TFT touchscreen HMI in multilingual operator language.
The optional equipment includes alternative unwinding mandrel diameters, razor blade and scissor cutting units with 5 sets of knives for longitudinal cutting, Venturi edge trim removal and a fully programmable cut-out function.
