When the Superia PRO-VN printing plates are used in combination with an HDX NewsSpeed washout unit, chemical consumption can be significantly reduced as no developer is required.

Thanks to the low-chemical printing plates, which are specially tailored to the production requirements of the newspaper industry, newspaper printers can achieve the same productivity as with conventionally processed violet CTP plates. Not only is the chemical consumption lower,
but also the water requirement, as no additional rinsing is necessary and therefore less water is needed. This cleaner operation results in less downtime for system cleaning and maintenance. The Superia PRO-VN offers excellent dot reproduction and consistently high quality over the entire run.

ADVANTAGES

In combination with the HDX NewsSpeed finishing device, the Superia PRO-VN plates lead to a drastic reduction in chemistry consumption as no developer is required. Developed specifically for the production requirements of the newspaper industry, the low-chemistry plate enables newspaper printers to achieve the same productivity as with conventionally processed violet CTP plates.

The low-chemical operation not only lowers the pH value of the processing system, but the added benefit of no water rinsing means less system waste. This cleaner operation results in less downtime required to clean and maintain the system.

The Superia PRO-VN newspaper plates are superior in dot reproduction. Lower dot gain makes it easy to adjust the calibration curve, and the plate's coating technology provides a wide exposure latitude, enabling consistent print quality throughout the run and excellent repeatability.
