- High print run resistance
- Up to 150,000 rewinds
- 1-99 % at 200 lpi
- Suitable for high-quality print jobs, including 20 µm FM screening, with consistent quality during the printing process
- Suitable for use with UV printing inks
- Developing machine, chemicals, rubber coating and water are no longer required
ADVANTAGES
The Superia ZD was specially developed for high-volume print jobs with up to 150,000 rewinds. This results in longer print runs, a reduced need for replacement plates and less downtime on the press.
The robust Superia ZD delivers optimum image quality from the first to the last print, even for short runs. With a specification of 1-99 % resolution and 20 µm FM screening, the Superia ZD achieves a unique print quality. No chemistry or developer is required for processing. This increases consistency and stability compared to classic, chemically developed printing plates.
However, physical stability is not the only strength of the Superia ZD, it also offers excellent solvent resistance so that it can be used with both conventional and the new generation of UV inks.
Fujifilm's processless plate technology offers a range of high-performance multilayer coatings. With previous generations of processless plates, there was a risk of coating damage if not handled properly. Therefore, the Superia ZD is now less sensitive to scratches.
The Superia ZD can maximize the efficiency of your printing plate production. Absolutely maintenance-free, no developer, chemistry, gumming or water. It's the fastest way from platesetter to press - simply expose and mount directly into the press. With the same exposure productivity as conventional high-sensitivity plates, you reduce both costs and labor and improve your environmental footprint.
