HIGH PERFORMANCE WITH EXCELLENT LAYER CONTRAST

Fujifilm's next generation processless printing plate offers the opportunity to take production to a new level of efficiency. The Superia ZX offers high run lengths and consistent quality due to its robustness and is compatible with UV inks. With various innovative technologies, it redefines the concept of
processless printing plates.

  • Improved latent image visibility
  • Up to 200,000 rewinds
  • 1-99 % at 200 lpi
  • Suitable for high-quality print jobs, including 20 µm FM screening, with consistent quality during the printing process
  • Suitable for use with UV printing inks
  • Developing machine, chemicals, rubber coating and water are no longer required

ADVANTAGES

An innovative technology with a special dye that optimizes the latent visibility of the printed image without impairing the curing of the light-sensitive layer and the inking in the printing press. The visibility of the printed image is still present even after several days.

This technology drastically shortens the decoating process in the printing press. Thanks to a newly designed functional layer, the dampening solution can penetrate the photosensitive layer very quickly. In addition, the photosensitive layer is protected from premature detachment during the decoating process and prevents soiling of the rollers and the water tank.

This technology minimizes possible scratches in the non-image areas, which can be caused by improper handling before the plate is decoated. During moistening, the primer flows into scratched areas so that no ink can adhere.

Excellent print resistance is achieved with a new photopolymer that improves the solidification of the light-sensitive layer. The new surface treatment also improves the adhesion between the substrate and the light-sensitive layer. Even with long print runs, small halftone dots remain stable. Tonal value fluctuations are avoided.
