Druckerei Müller Fotosatz & Druck is a traditional printing company in the town of Selbitz in the Upper Franconian district of Hof and can look back on a long company history. The company has been family-owned since it was founded in 1949 by the brothers Rudolf and Georg Müller. In 1985, the management was transferred to the next generation of the family, the two sons Johannes and Ernst Müller.
Over 70 years of experience
For over 70 years, the print shop has enjoyed a high level of recognition beyond the country's borders and produces high-quality print products such as books, brochures, catalogs, flyers, mailings and much more in offset and digital printing.
Customer satisfaction & sustainability
"Customer and employee satisfaction" and the topic of "environment and sustainability" are very important to Müller Fotosatz & Druck. The last point in particular has been a major focus in recent years. Under the motto "We protect the environment", the company was the first print shop in Upper Franconia to take part in the "Bavarian Environmental Package" and produce in a climate-neutral manner. Self-generated electricity - CHP and photovoltaic power - has been used for environmentally friendly printing since 2006 and 2010 respectively. In 2016, the company also invested in an LED UV drying system.

The two owners, Johannes and Ernst Müller, have always been keen to invest in modern printing technologies. Even in the current difficult economic situation caused by the pandemic, it was clear for Müller Fotosatz & Druck to seize the opportunity and invest in the innovative RMGT 970 in A1+ format so that the company can continue to operate successfully on the market with state-of-the-art technology once the lockdown is over.

The new RMGT 970
In summer 2020, RMGT (RYOBI MHI Graphic Technology) launched the new RMGT 970 series onto the market. The new machine generation has been further developed on the basis of the well-known RMGT 920 series - of which over 1,300 machines have been installed worldwide. Further innovations for the RMGT 970 family have also been adopted from the RMGT 1050 series.
The new A1-Plus format - sheet format 650 x 965 mm - of the RMGT 970 enables a wide range of print products, scores points with its low energy consumption and compact, space-saving design. There is also no need to fold the printing plates. The offset printing press is also highly automated and meets Müller Fotosatz & Druck's ecological standards with LED UV drying.
